With the help of my artist friend, Lou Davis, I was able to complete my woodcut and letterpress poem in homage to Scotland and my project here. Lining up lead type on a platen press is tough when you are printing on paper that's really too large for the machine---but overall I'm pleased with the results. So much so that I plan to purchase an Adana Letterpress to use back home! Next up, a series of drawings about Edinburgh.
The really wonderful thing about this experience was working with Lou and swapping prints with her. She gave me a beautiful abstract screenprint.
